I just wondered if there were any Vitex/AC users on here who have taken it to regulate cycles and experienced loss in the past? I know it's probably not related at all but I always have this worry in the back of my mind that Vitex was related to my losses somehow, and now I don't know whether to start taking it again or not. I know I may regret stopping it three months down the line if I find out my cycles have gone crazy again.
I started taking it over 3 years ago when I was TTC#1, I continued it after my first BFP and had a loss at 5 weeks. I got my next BFP a few weeks later and stopped the Vitex straight away that time.
This year we started TTC#2 so I started using Vitex again to try and regulate my cycles again as it had worked well before, and my cycles were still a bit long after just getting them back since stopping breastfeeding. I had a loss around 6 weeks with our first BFP this time, and again conceived a few weeks later, but ended up having a mmc found at 9+1. I had weaned myself off the Vitex slowly this time, as I was worried about stopping them altogether suddenly, and only just found out today that I stopped them as soon as I got BFP with my DD as I found my old thread from when I was pregnant with her and someone asked about Vitex.
I don't know why I'm so convinced it's related in some way, but I really can't decide now if I should take it again or just forget about it altogether and see what happens with my cycles.

No idea if it's related or not. It would be nice to know. If it's not something your OB or RE has recommended I would not take it. I went over with my RE a list of vitamins and meds he wanted me to take if it wasn't on the list I was not going to take it. I don't even know what vitex is. Maybe just stop using it and see how things go.

I'm in the UK so I don't have anything like an OB or RE, no one is interested as I've 'only' had three losses. So unfortunately trying to figure it out for myself

Wow that really sucks no one will help you at this point, especially after 3 losses. It wouldn't hurt to forgo the Vitex and see how the next pregnancy goes. Lots of hugs

After my mc, I used vitex tea to regulate my cycles. Worked like a charm, and it increased cm. I conceived on my first cycle using Vitex with DD and DS. I decreased the dose by half during the tww, and stopped completely with bfp's.
I'm so sorry for your losses! It's so hard. I hope you get your rainbow soon! Xxx
