Expressing question

I don't know how long I can afford to stay off work as I bring in the main income so I want to make sure lo can take a bottle as I don't want to b in a position where I have to go back and lo won't feed.
When is the best time to express? How would I go about it?
I have been a bit nervous as I don't want to ruin bf

for me morning is far and away the best time to express - I get far more milk then than later on. I tend to express from the said baby didn't feed on. We waited until 8 weeks old and then gave her first bottle. I was like you - scared to ruin our bf relationship but I also didn't want to wait too long so she could never take a bottle. My DH gave the bottle so that she would associate me with boob and daddy with bottle. I'm not sure if we were lucky or did exactly the right thing but we've had no issues getting her to take a bottle.
