Today has been the worst. How do u help the dizziness and I'm constantly worried about what is causing it! I'm assuming changes in bloop pressure.. Any one else going through this?

Me :/ I've been told by the midwife that it's just because I have low blood pressure and hopefully it'll pick up later on in pregnancy. I've just been making sure whenever I feel it getting too bad I sit down asap!

I got Menieres Disease in my first pregnancy & the severe vertigo returned this time. It's under control now. Blood pressure changes can lead to short spells. So be careful getting up & down. Blood sugar fluctuations can lead to longer spells, so eat regularly & focus on food that releases sugars slowly. Ongoing spells can be caused by a lot of things. For me, fluid retention affects my inner ear and sets of the vertigo attacks that can last 3+hrs. I now go to physiotherapist to loosen my jaw bone so fluid runs freely again. It helps. If you vertigo goes together with tinnitus and/or hearing loss the issue will be inner ear related. It might just be an inner ear infection, which sometimes is asymptomatic (no pain).
Always have a plan ready in case you get too dizzy. Can you reach someone to come out to you? It gives peace of mind & you don't have to be too housebound.

Ya I have my DH help when it happens but it was so bizarre that I even felt vertigo when I laid down! Actually worse! So I propped my head up w pillows until it got a tad better... But when I would move around the room would kinda spin (kinda how you feel when really drunk) but without the drinking lol. So crazy. I had low BP w my last preg. This one has been around 130/80 and 127/70 but im just new into second tri and I'm assuming things are fluctuating cause I threw up for the first time a few days ago lol

It's scary. With my vertigo all I can do is crawl to the toilet and vomit all the time till it stops. It always comes with diarrhea as well, which is atypical, but it means that I drain of fluids almost instantly. After 3+ I'm ready fr IV fluids in hospital.
I now have 'Vertigoheel' with me all the time. The only thing that actually helps while spinning. It's homeopathic & safe in pregnancy. I recommend trying it if you get dizzy regularly. It's a life saver fr me.
