My first pregnancy, I had little to no problem with food aversions. This pregnancy, I've managed to compile a very long list of foods and drinks that absolutely repulse me to even think about. It's really annoying. I've lost 10 pounds in about 3 weeks time. My midwife isn't concerned about the weight loss, as long as I am keeping some food in my body and the baby is growing normally. I do eat at least once a day, and baby seems to be doing very well. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing anything this extreme? It's no fun

Sounds like me... lol My first pregnancy, while I wasn't too keen on eating anything that was majorly greasy, I didn't really have much of an aversion to anything!

This time around, especially in my 1st Tri with morning sickness, I couldn't stomach much more than cereal. I lost 22 lbs in 1st Tri. (I was pretty overweight to begin with, so no concern from my OB on that loss)

Now, the morning sickness is gone and I can eat a wider range of food... but I still seem to have an aversion to several things once I smell or see them. I'm certainly not struggling to eat enough anymore. That passed by the time I hit 18 weeks, I think.

I am 17 weeks and still can't eat meat. I have been able to gain weight on other foods but I just can't eat meat. I bought those nutrition shakes to get extra calories and protein.
