Extreme indigestion at 12 weeks... how long will it last?!

I'm exactly 12 weeks today and have horrid indigestion and acid reflux. No matter what I eat, it feels like the food ends up sitting in my stomach for hours, making me feel nauseaus. I eventually throw up because I feel so sick. I know it's common and I have been taking tums and zantac for temporary relief.... but what I really want to know is how long it will last! I'm scared out of my mind it will continue through the pregnancy.

Can anyone tell me from their experience how long your indigestion lasted?

I don't know how long it will last but I am going through the same thing right now. I'm almost 10 weeks and every time I eat I feel like food is sitting in my throat. I eventually gag and throw up a little to ease the discomfort. I thought it was morning sickness but I'm thinking it's more acid reflux. I also can't stop coughing from the acid. Yuck!
