Ok..this might be long, and sorry for posting on this subject again, but i really don't know what to do anymore!it's driving me insane. I got that weird midcycle spotting (well, more like a pink/brown tinted mucous) again this morning! 3rd month now. CD 23 or 8dpo. got checked for stds and the smear (last year) was ok. The doc seems to think that it is hormonal. I don't chart. My husband thinks that something is wrong as i am (apparently) getting really emotional and he believes that baby is triying to implant but something goes wrong on the way. My understanding is that to have a hormonal bleeding there must be an imbalance! And this weird thing always happens around implantation time! is it possible that my progesterone is dropping too quick too early? My lutheal phase is 14 days...can i still have low progesterone? any ideas how the hormones affect implantation? I have been told on both day 14 ultrasounds that my lining is ripe.... I really don't know what to do.....

You should probably have your progesterone checked around the time that you start spotting. Or, you could start temping. Either would give you picture of what's going on. The blood test would be clearer, but the temping is definitely cheaper and would give you some evidence to support the test, if necessary. If your post-O temp drops, it can indicate low progesterone. Just my thoughts... I might be wrong! Good luck, sweetie! :hugs:
