Eyesight tests

... sorry this is a boring thread alert!

How often do you have your eyes tested?
I wear glasses and have had a letter through to say I am due an eye test. Last time I had one would have been maybes 2 years ago and I got new glasses. Ive worn glasses since I was small (Im both long and short sighted and have an astigmatism in one eye). Would you get yours tested every 2 years as this letter suggests? Or do you wait and see if you have any changes in vision before going?

Im a worrier tho so don't think i could ignore a reminder x

My insurance covers yearly exams so I go every year. And I'm a bit obsessed with glasses so I'm always looking forward to getting new ones!

I go every two years. I wouldn't go any longer because if eye sight changes gradually then you won't notice

I went just recently (the last time I went was 5 yrs back), I had eye sight correction surgery 18 yrs back, I used to go for a checkup every 6 months. I went recently as I have an allergy, everything else was normal xx
