I'm a facebook hater atm to - I deleted my account about 2 months or more ago and people keep asking me to come back on because its ''not the same'' without me there. NO THANKS!!! Its full of bulls**t and people bitching about each other. sod that!! xx

I hate facebook but I have one. I don't use it much though, I have like 11 friends, I only keep close family and friends on there.

But the craze over it does my head in. And my OH loves it, so I can't resist teasing him with this song!

I'm a Facebook hater at the minute. I have an account and I rarely go on it and when I do out of boredom I realise within 3 seconds why I rarely go on it..Same old drama and people not talking English but 'puttin der msgs lyk dis' and there's nothing I hate more!!

Not to mention everytime I go log in i have 30 inbox messages about 100 event invites some to places nowhere near where I live?! loads of friend requests and notifications and thankfully it's set up to an email I don't use for emails because it's got over 7,000 emails just from facebook :growl:

The only reason I don't deactivate it (I have in the past) is because I have a lot of family abroad that I never see anymore. If it wasn't for them it'd be gone

I'm not a huge Facebook fan... I have one but I only have a few very close friends and family on it. I've found it's the easiest way to keep in contact with my entire family since everyone is in Australia.

*hand up* Yep, I hate facebook too. I used to be obsessed and played all those games like Farmville and Mafia Wars etc. but when I had my LO I realised I had better things to do than look at duckface photos and bitchy statuses. Deleted it and never looked back. Anyone that matters has my email address, twitter ID and phone number so we can keep in touch that way. It has made me open my eyes to the people I called friends who haven't bothered with me at all since I deleted my account.

I think facebook is what you make it - I've had it for years and never had an issue with it per se, I do see lots of things on there I wish people would keep private like arguments and such but I just ignore all of that nonsense as I hate bitchiness and arguments even more so. 99% of my family are abroad though so I keep it open for them to see pics of lo - sending it by email would drive me mad!

I agree - aside from a small number of bnb people my fb is just friends and family and there are never any stupid arguments or anything, just people sharing music and photos and keeping in touch. A lot of my good friends all live in different cities/countries now so I love being in regular contact and seeing what they're up to. I love seeing my 15 year old sisters fb wall though, so many over emotional statuses and silly arguments! What's up with the 'like for a rate' thing? I had literally never seen it on my fb wall, made me feel really old when I saw that it is what teenagers do these days!
