Faint control line, what is that?

Yesterday I jumped the gun and took a hpt test at 11 dpo. I use fore-life test strips which has a purple dye.

Anyhoo, my test come out negative and while watching the strip suck up the urine the dye colours on the window looked strange then normal.

It came up as negative however the control line is super faint. Comparing it to last month's test which is deep purple.

Anyone got ideas on to way it is like that.

it might be a faulty test
I would retest with a different test in the morning gl
