Ok don't say you haven't ever taken a pregnancy test apart, especially a first response! It's easier to see if you look at the back without the glare that the shiny front has! Anyway, I've been getting SUPER faint positives.. but when I take the test apart and let them dry out, the lines get darker (and have color) I don't know if it's evap lines or what. I have taken a few tests that are just flat out negative, and none of them have had the dark lines when they dry. All the ones that have dried with darker lines I swear I saw a faint line right away after I took the test. Any advice on this? Thanks guys!

I tried to attach an image.. I hope it works lol

I took a digital and it said -No I'll take another one in a few days or something! My last period started on either April 13, 14 or 15 lol I wasn't keeping track! This isn't really planned haha.

Oh, and these have been sitting out for like hours, but the lines were there (Just not that dark at all) when i first took the tests.

I've attached a photo of what mine looked like yesterday morning and this morning I took a First Response Early and it was :bfn: :dohh:

Sorry ladies I edited this post from yesterday I forgot to hit UPLOAD for the attachment :dohh:

I had my last period 4/8/11

If you take apart a test, you negate the results. That allows the air to dry the test faster than it is supposed to and can cause dye to pool in the indentation line.

Now, that's not applicable to taking the test apart before you use it, because in that instance you aren't changing the environment of the test - but it's pretty difficult to use a FR that way, unfortunately.

Sorry to say those look like evaps to me. GL though - hope they become a clear bfp.
