I have an issue! I hadn't peed for about 2 or 3 hours....Didn't drink that much at work...Came home and I took a clear blue digital test this afternoon and it came up "pregnant". I took another one about 45 mins later and it came up "not pregnant".Could it be that I didn't have enough hormones in my pee the second time ? If I am actually pregnant I wouldn't be that far along. Would a false positive happen with a digital test? I'm not on any medications of any kind.
False postitive pregnacy test?

First off: CONGRATS! If you had a positive, you had to have pregnancy hormones in your pee to make the line change color. Those lines can't change color without pregnancy hormones. They have to be able to bind to something to change color and the only thing they can bind to is hCG. Since you're early along, you won't have enough hCG in your pee to turn the stick positive unless you've been holding it and not drinking anything for at LEAST a few hours. 45 minutes is definitely not long enough! Even for a digital test. The digital tests are simply regular tests that use a digital reader to analyze the test result. If you break a positive digi test open, you can see the two lines inside that the stick is looking at, a negative digi test only has one line. The reader is the only part that's digital, not the test itself.
