Favourite accent

Geordie, midlands, kiwi. :haha:

now accents that I don't like at all: anything American bar the northwest, or new england :haha:

Last night i went to bed early. Half woke up in a panic hearing odd voices outside thinking it was zombies...turned out it was neighbours with drunken bristolian accents

I love a good west country accent but my favourite probably has to be irish :D

I love the geordie accent.... Never hear anyone loving my annoying Essex accent though lol

Northern irish. There's a cartoon that my daughter watches with a little northern Irish girl in it and I could sit and listen to it all day lol

I was scanning this thread thinking 'no one will pick the hideous northern Irish accent' :haha:
I'm allowed to say that, it's my hideous accent!!

And I think I know the cartoon you mean, I change channels quickly when it comes on :haha:

I love the Welsh and Scottish accents :D My OH is a proper' Londoner' though :haha:

Irish and I best say essex as well

I like a welsh accent to but it has to be a valleys accent

I don't have a strong accent, I've moved around I lot and it seems to be a mishmash of a lot of different accents

My favourite UK accents are Scottish, Yorkshire and Midlands. The Scots accent, in my opinion, is one of the sexiest I've ever heard. I could listen to Billy Connolly all day long, his voice and accent is so comforting and sexy (and he's easy on the eye too!) The Yorkshire accent, well, I love a lot of Northern accents, but Yorkshire is definitely the best I love it. My mum and all her family are from Birmingham and Coventry, so obviously I hear the Midlands accent pretty much all the time. My mum's, though, is slightly muted as she's lived in London since she was 18, but it's still most definitely there. Sadly, I never picked it up. I have my dad's stupid Southern/London accent...boo. :(

As for American accents, I just love the whole generic accent. It's very homely and comforting to hear. But I also love a good Brooklyn accent; very comical and so exaggerated.

And as for other accents, I love Canadian, Romanian, Greek, Saudi Arabian (thanks to all of my colleagues at uni ;))

I love Geordie accents. Can't think of any others I absolutely love! The Leicester accent is really friendly though. I'm a Brummie, but can't say I particularly love it!

Irish accent all the time.

Or people who sound like Benedict Cumberbatch or Alan Rickman *swoon*

I quite like my accent. I live in south wales and sometimes I'll say something and realise it sounds like I've sung it!! My old french tutor (who is irish) used to say the welsh accent is quite 'sing song' like

Oh I quite like how Dutch speak English and I agree with Marinewag' most Europeans I've heard speak English seem to have American accent.

I knew a boy from Sweden and he spoke English with American accent.

I'm from London and most people I know say I talk really fast, my Canadian cousins use to be very fascinated lol

I love Southern Irish accents (Co.Kerry & Cork) and I love Italian American accent - especially Tony Soprano :)

I love scottish accents even though I'm scottish too :haha:

and I love male polish speaking english accent and glaswegian pakistani accent :haha:

also geordie and irish :)
