FEB/MAR 2012 Babies

Hey Moms...so I am wondering what your baby is like. I have a worry problem...I worry is my baby to small? Is she behind? does she eat enough? should she still be getting a bottle? How many bottles? So I thought Id LOVE to hear how other babies her age are doing

How big is your baby? My daughter is small. She's in the 10 th percentile for her weight. And she gets as many bottles as she needs in a day.

My son was born Feb 2012 and weights 9.9 kgs (21.8 lbs) and 75cm tall. I'm told thats about 50th percentile. I really dont stress that he's not bigger because he has tripled his birth weight of 3 kgs and increased birth height by 50% at 9 months ( the target is by 12 months). He's a hyperactive little monster so burns a ton of calories. He's now walking on his own and saying a few words (apart from Mama and Papa).

As long as they are active, learning new things and happy, I wouldnt worry!!

My little gal is really tall and thin and eats like a hummingbird. 98th percentile for height and 39th percentile for weight. She says a few words but in her own way, like baba, good, nananana(usually means an angry no), Mommom and Da and "I ruv oooooh" She's just getting the hang of standing with help and crawling. She has 5 teeth and is getting more fast. She's a really easy going baby and amuses herself regularly. Not to mention she is very sweet and loving, gives hugs and kisses and literally lights up and sweet talks the weather man on our local morning news.

My boys were born end of March. Dominic is a little chubby at 12kg and at the top of the 98th for weight but also for height at 77cm. Sebastian is 10 kg which is the 75th % and he is in the 91st I think for height as he is 75cm tall. But the men in my family are all very tall with my brother being 6'5 and my dad 6'3. So I always knew I'd have tall boys

Evelyn is turning one in February. She is about 18-20 lbs. (Just depends!)She doesn't take a bottle anymore, but she does get about 32 oz of sippy cup / day as well as 2-3 meals / day and snacks. (So about 4 8 oz sippy cups.) When I can get her to eat! Typically she is good about it , but she has been poorly the last little while and not eating as well!

She can walk along the couch, and crawl. She pulls herself up on all of her toys to play. She can say simple words like heeeyyy mama and dada. She can say mama, dada, milk, change diaper, more , all done, and a couple other things in baby sign. Although she does it when she want's too, I can't get her to do it when I ask yet. She loves playing patty cake, and dancing.! She is my entire world and I love her so much!

Finn will be 1 tomorrow; he's very slim, but has long legs (his daddy is 6 feet tall) -- he hates to crawl, but loves to walk with daddy's help; he's very sociable and friendly and says the usual - mama, dada, etc., but loves to explore mechanical things with his hands and loves to sing/music. He's very lovable, but a bit grumpy with teething (five on top, five on the bottom and more threatening as we speak!)....overall, he's a loveable, sociable and clever little man who is pretty good 90% of time....!

Xpecta, I remember seeing you in the pal boards So are you and your DH thinking about another baby? We are trying to be careful for a few more months but gonna try for another soon. I love being a mama. I left the workforce and am a SAHM now, best job ever
