***February love bugs***

Phantom - Lovely scan!!

MrsW - Ugh, that has to be horrible. I'm sorry!

Desire - That's so great!! I can't wait till I'm further along and can hear baby with my stethoscope!

AFM - Not much here..

Hormones are starting to affect my mood, constant very mild nausea that makes me feel like I should eat, tired tired tired! Feel like I can't sleep well at all.

Hey just popping in to say hi. I've got m first day at work tomorrow. Saw the midwife today and she'll be booking my scan so hopefully I'll hear something soon.
I really hope my day goes ok tomorrow; I couldn't hold it in today and threw up on the lawn while I was hanging up laundry. It's going to be awfully suspicious if I have to keep running to the bathroom while they're trying to train me tomorrow!

Hello to new ladies
And lovely scans:)

Everybody stay well hydrated in this summer heat <3

hey girls! sounds like we're all a pregnant mess :haha: it's the best reason ever for feeling like crap, don't you agree? hope you ladies with more severe symptoms/HEG get well soon <3 <3 <3

so happy to see all the scans and good news. :) espicially our twinnies! hope Beautiful11 is hanging in there and doing well :flower:

has anyone made an official announcement yet? or when do y'all plan to?

we did a secret photoshoot over the weekend to reveal soon. I'd like to wait until 12+ weeks, but this secret is really weighing on DH! We plan to announce in person to our immediate families and friends, call extended families and hand out/mail announcement cards from shutterfly. they have some really cute designs! I can't wait.

My next scan is Friday at 8+4. Fingers crossed our babe is doing great and we'll feel a little more assurance.

also, does anyone plan to stay team yellow? or who wants to know the gender asap? :headspin:

Lovely scans ladies! I have another one this Thursday at 8 + 3. We did IVF and I’m not real quiet about infertility so our families and a lot of extended family knows. Some of my friends know too. I won’t announce to the world until after 12 weeks!

Tree- I feel you I have been at my new job now for weeks and I finally had to spill the beans to one of my coworkers bc I had a migraine at work Monday. It was horrible I had to go home but thankful that I was only training so I don't mess with anyone's schedule. I have been trying to sleep it off last day in between taking care of my 1 yr old and 3.5 yr old. I'm just behind exhausted.

Wifey- no one knows except close few friends so it's been really hard for me. Keeping the secret when I just want to scream it to everyone. But then u again I'm not ready for everyone's thoughts and opinions.
I would like to go team yellow but it never happens... it would be such a great surprise but reality hits me and I want to be prepared and I feel I can bond easier with baby knowing the sex inside me. You?

Congrats on early scans. My first appt i will be 9.4 weeks and I'm not even sure I will be scanned that week. It's 2 weeks away and seems like forever away.

so far, only our best friends, and DH's work knows due to missing time for appointments. We've kept it from family and the vast majority so far! LTTTC has made this part of the situation difficult.

I really really really want to be team yellow, but DH wants to know to help him bond. so, we're a bit on the fence for now - luckily I have time until we could truly know anyway to try to sway DH :haha: I love neutrals, so I've indulged in some shopping already and it's been fun!

Wow!! I am loving all these scans in here! <3 Thanks for the welcome!

I finally scheduled my first appointment for next week at 8+1. SO NERVOUS!

Yay for using a doppler and finding those sweet twin heartbeats!! So amazing. I looked this up last night so I can start using mine again and it said 7-8 weeks at the earliest. I doubt this early but I'm think maybe I can hear blood flow or something?

No announcement from me until 12 weeks and I'm seriously thinking 16 weeks. lol

My mum and sister already know as I'm very close to both, rest of immediate family and close friends we'll tell at 12 weeks, everyone else we'll tell some point after the 20 week scan but I won't be making an announcement.

So many of you are nurses so I thought I'd get your advice! my blood pressure at my appointment was 90/58, could that be what's making me dizzy? The midwife said it was a normal number but I just feel so woozy all the time!

Mum2cubs - I hope you're able to get some rest :hugs:

tbfromlv - Good luck with your scan tomorrow!

wifeybby - We're on team yellow for the first time :)

treeroot - I hope you feel better today :hugs:

Vanilla - Do you feel dizzy all the time or when you stand up? I start to feel off at that low and actually had my blood pressure go in the 80s/50s last pregnancy making me feel light headed. It took rest, fluid, and food to get it back up.

It is possible especially if you don't normally run that low for it to make you feel that way. My advice is get plenty of water, maybe add a little more salt in your diet, and eat well.

If you could check your blood pressure every time you felt dizzy you would get a better idea if it is that.

Everytime when I stand up and a few times when I'm sat down, I'll eat more salty things thanks for the tip :) didn't realise that could affect it.

Could it really be nausea. I feel kind of dizzy but its morning sickness for sure. 58 that seems like a low lower number?

Vanilla - Sounds like your blood pressure is probably dropping significantly enough to cause dizziness. Just be sure to not move too quickly and take a second once you stand up to give your body time to adjust. It happens to me a lot when I'm pregnant. Starting to do it again already. Your body just isnt adjusting your blood pressure quick enough. Should hopefully improve as time goes on.

Thanks guys :hugs: I keep forgetting to get up slower, toddler and 1 year old causing chaos always makes me jump out of my seat!

This dizziness is horrible, isn't it? My blood pressure has plummeted since being pregnant too.

So, I'm out of hospital, but still really nauseated and vomiting once or twice a morning. Evenings are my best times, and I can finally eat what I want without feeling horribly sick.

My kids and I listened into the baby this evening with my fetal doppler. We heard the heartbeat (8w+3) and they're so excited that there's actually a baby in there. :cloud9:

tb, did you have a scan today?!

Mine is tomorrow. Friday the 13th of all days. I’m nervous AF.

Mrs - glad to hear you’ve been released from the hospital. And that’s awesome you picked up the hb!! Go mama!

Good luck with scans, gorgeous girls! I had an early scan in hospital at 7w+6 and all is fine. :happydance:

Yes scan was today! 8 weeks 3 days <3 everything looked great! I’m so happy and relieved!

Still no sickness. I sometimes feel like I ate something bad, but usually feel better once I eat. My mom said she had almost no sickness with her first so I’m hoping that’s me!

I'm so jealous of you with no sickness. Each of my 3 pregnancies, I've been admitted to hospital with hyperemesis gravidarum.

I've been observing this group silently as I was scared of things going wrong. I finally had my first scan few days back at 7w4d and baby measured exactly 7w4d. Finally feeling relieved and letting myself back into this group :)
I've been having horrible nausea, not throwing up by plenty of dry heaving and queasiness that lasts all day everyday.

Anyone in the US getting NIPT done?
