***February love bugs***

I'm all caught up! I am expecting baby #5 February 11th!

A little info on me. I live in the US. DH and I are 31. We are high school sweethearts and have been together since we were 15. Married 11 years. We have DD 10 years old, DD 6 years old, DS 3 years old and DS 2 years old. I've had one loss at 12 weeks between baby #2 & #3. My DS who will actually be 4 in August has Hypochondroplasia, a form of dwarfism ( no family history). We always wanted 5 kids so this will definitely be our last! We'd like to wait until the end of the summer to announce it. I'm quite heavy so it will be easy. I have my first appointment June 15th but I don't think they will do an ultrasound at that visit. We'll see. I had my last 3 babies at a Navy hospital in California so I'm a little sad this baby wont be. DH served 10 years in the navy and got out 2 years ago.

Not really feeling any symptoms. I had sore breasts a couple days and I'm tired. That's about it. I am over the moon excited but sad that this will be our last baby. I have to try and really enjoy it!

Welcome tb and summer!

I’ve updated the first post please let me know if I’ve missed anyone off

Glad everyone is doing well hello to the newbies! Wriggley the sickness bands have worked wonders for me try them honestly! Thank you to all have wished me well pregnancy is always a scary time for me and my anxiety/depression is all hormone based. Xxx

Welcome to the group Summer

Wriggley - I hope your nausea isn't too bad at work today

Nausea is very much here today bleurggh

Beautiful where do you get them from? Also are you taking your medication still? I’ve had to go back on my anxiety medication as I was awful off of it

How soon did you all call and make your doctor's appointments?

Here in my part of the UK you book directly with the midwives, I've booked mine in but the soonest they'll see you is 8 weeks pregnant.

I'm with you vanilla; I'm having a tough time this morning, I hope it passes soon.

I'm not from the US tb, but my first prenatal appointment is for July 4 (I'll be 9 weeks). I did happen to go in to the doctors last week because I was taking my 3 year old for his annual check up anyway. So I got a pregnancy confirmation (pee in a cup) and paper work to get blood work done. I'll find some time to get the blood work done before my first appointment.

Also, the day I got my BFP I filled out an online intake form for the midwife clinic...but that's because there's limited space. I still haven't heard back from them yet :(

I hope you hear back from the midwife clinic soon. I hope your nausea eases off soon too.

You can get them from most chemists or online there called seabands they have helped me so so so much! I’ve had a really really bad few days with my anxiety/ bordering depression I came off citalopram November of last year, due to falling pregnant unexpectedly and never went back on them. I struggled really bad and ended up loosing the pregnancy at 11 weeks. My anxiety always triggers when I’m due on and when I’m pregnant which makes me believe it’s hormone based. I don’t feel like it’s ever going to go away completely I went to my GP yesterday to be referred to the perinatal team asap and she asked about me potentially going back on to meds I said I wouldn’t dismiss it but want to see if I can handle it without. After today it makes me feel like I need a little more support along with meds :( feeling really down in the dumps. I hope your doing much better then me xxx

I’m on citalapram and I did a look of research this last couple of weeks to weigh up the pros and cons of taking it and apparently the come down from taking it is awful anyways so I’ve chosen to stay on it

Not had a good day today ended up having to tell my managers at work as my sickness was so bad. Me and my OH work in the same company but luckily they were great about it.

Sea bands are great I have used in all of my pregnancies. 6 weeks 1 day and morning sickness is defo here. In legoland with my boys for last few days and been struck down with awful hayfever and sickness really kicked in today. Nearly vommed at breakfast and every time using the public toilets. The air freshener is so over powering!

@wriggley please can I go on the front page too? Think I’m due 14th xxx

Have had a little nausea this afternoon after a cup of tea. I couldn’t stomach tea in my other two pregnancies do I had expected it but still gutted as I love a cup of tea!! X

All done for you New Mrs W

Treeroot I forgot to say I will put one of your lovely sigs in my signature I’m just a worrier so I don’t use tickets or anything until I’ve reached 12 weeks and everything is okay

Ha, that's ok Wiggley, I'm not worried if no one uses them!
Also I hope you start to feel better.....soonish :p Is your OH a coach too?

My sickness isn't that bad, but I hate the constant feeling of queasiness. It was like this last time; I have to be constantly eating.
And I have the same tea problem Mrs W! I haven't actually had a tea recently, but know that on an empty stomach they make me feel ill so I haven't felt like testing it yet. I think I might have one as long as I've got plenty of food to go with it.

Though I'm just remembering now that I did drink a lot of raspberry leaf tea in third tri last time!

I'm like that with tickers too! - and paranoid people will find out so I have it on hidden until my scan  I do love them though.

No he’s a personal trainer :haha: we just work at the same sports centre

Makes me a little nervous that I don't really have any symptoms. 5w1d for me. With the pregnancy I lost I never felt pregnant either. I'm also wishing and hoping for morning sickness!

Edit to say I've taken tests the last week or so and my lines have gotten darker. Still nervous!
