***February love bugs***

Have any of you had betas drawn when you got positive HPT?

Not had no bloods taken yet lovely. Tea is awful for me too! My sickness is now moderate with the seabands I sleep in them lol but I’ve gone off food really badly I have to make myself eat. Going to wait two weeks to see if I have more good days then bad and if it’s more bad I’ll be going back to the GP XXX

Tb we don’t really get bloods done here in the uk (beta bloods I mean)

Makes me a little nervous that I don't really have any symptoms. 5w1d for me. With the pregnancy I lost I never felt pregnant either. I'm also wishing and hoping for morning sickness!

Edit to say I've taken tests the last week or so and my lines have gotten darker. Still nervous!

I have felt like you too so hang in there! I hardly had anything to go by this time last week too. Just over 6 weeks and sickness has started but it's not too bad yet. I have also started peeing loads too. No sore boobs as yet though. X

Hello ladies, can I join you? I’m due the 17th of February which was the due date of my first baby (now 11).
I’m 31 and this will be number 4. Fell pregnant first cycle so feeling very lucky. X

So I got my midwife appointment :)

It's 5 days after my prenatal appointment at my doctors...so now I'm wondering; should I go to both just in case I really don't like the midwives? I've asked other moms in my area and everyone seemed to have nothing but good things to say.

But then of course I'm thinking I don't want to have to wait another 5 days :p :D

Welcome to the group Beeka :)

Treeroot - I would go to both!

Horrendous migraine today that won't go away, I had it with my last two pregnancies too :( nausea has been coming and going all day.

I have a midwife app too but not until start of July but I would rather wait until I know things are ok in there. I have a scan tomoz which I am really nervous about. Hey ho what will he will be and all That!

Get well soon honey! I have had a nasty virus coupled with horrendous hayfever with the morning sickness I have felt pretty shite. Feeling much better now though rest up!
Welcome beeka

Does anyone else notice their sickness comes and goes

I’ve had it really bad the last couple of days but today I’ve worn sea bands and my nausea has been much better and now I’m worried

Mine defo comes and goes throughout day but more there than not now! I guess if you are worried take the bands off and feel that full on nausea again.

It totally comes and goes Wriggley! No rules about "morning" sickness :p

So the reason I may not want to go to both is because I have my three year old and I'm not sure if I can bring him to the doctors with me? Usually it's fine with midwives but I don't know this practice.
Also, I'd have to sit through the same long list of questions twice lol. The midwife appointment will be just over an hour and I have no idea how long the doctor will be.

I suppose I could be honest with the doctor and just get a quick check up, letting him know that I'm probably going to switch to the midwives. But I'm really shy when it comes to potentially wasting someone's time :(

My pregnant friend told me today that I'm going to love the midwives, after I told her I got in lol, so I guess it's a good group.

IsaacRalph - I hope your hayfever is okay now, good luck for today!

Treeroot - Could you postpone the doctor appointment in that case? See how it goes at the midwife appointment and then book one with the doctor if you feel you need it.

round ligament pain has started, turned over in bed and got a shooting pain! Sneezing - ouch!

Also- feels like my nipples have been scrubbed with a rusty Brillo pad!

Deep joy 😂

After suffering a loss once before (in 2013) I can't help but worry now. I've had some cramping off and on which I know can be normal but can also be a bad sign. I've continued testing just to see the line get darker. Here they are. Bottom is this morning. Pretty sure I'm pregnant! Lol. I sure hope it's a good sign that all is ok. I have my first appointment tomorrow but that's just in take. Probably wont have an ultrasound for a few weeks. I'm getting excited! Still so shocked!

Ya, that's probably what I'll end up doing...

I'm just guilty of wanting to hear that heartbeat sooner then later!

That sounds like fun reeve :nope: And it seems pretty early for rlp so that sucks!

I had on and off cramping my first couple weeks as well Summer2105, but so far so good (6wks+5).

I am guilty of eating a ton right now. I guess partially because it helps keep the nausea at bay but if I keep going along like this I'm going to have gained my 25-35 lbs by 2nd tri :haha:
