feeding

seems like i am full of questions today for some reason, Annabelle didnt sleep very well last night at all

she fed at
5.45pm 5oz
8.00pm 5oz
9.00pm screamed house down wanting more so had 2oz
10.40pm 5oz
12.30am 2oz
then 3.30am 5oz
then slept till 8.50am this morning when she drank 5oz
11.45am 5oz
2.45pm 5oz

i feel she is drinking loads but i dont want to refuse her milk if she is hungry

do babies really have growth spurts when they eat more

i have upped her bottles as of her next one to 6oz to see if this makes a difference

you think this is ok or should i be making her go longer??

she normally has lots in the evening but goes from 11ish give or take half hour till 5ish again give or take half hour then goes back down till 9 so last night was the first time she has been unsettled and woke as much

Sounds like a growth spurt to me! I wouldn't make her wait to eat if she's hungry.

Offer water instead, if she won't take it, give her food x

could be a growth spurt hun, tyler had one a few days back and he was feeling 4oz every 2 hours!!

I think i had a similar thing about a week ago. HV said that it sounded like a growth spurt. They can apparantly become very unsettled. That's great though that Annabelle goes that long in the night!! I'm jealous!!

It sounds like a growth spurt... The only time I tried to make her wait on feeds was when she was waking and only taking an oz or 2....
