Hi,
I'm not sure if anyone has experienced this before - have also posted in 'baby club' anyways here's the thing...
DD is a happy 10 week old but for the past week she has been a bit of a nightmare when it comes to her taking her afternoon bottle (around 2/3). Well, first of all i panicked that she was refusing food and therefore not getting enough but when I added up every bottle throughout the day she's taking the recommended amount..i think!!!?! 5 x 5oz bottles at 2/3am 5/6am 9/10am 5/6pm and 10/11pm.
Now i've looked at these feed I've started to wonder whether she's missing out the afternoon feed cause she doesn't need it but ideally that is the feed i want her to miss but at 2/3AM not 2/3PM.
Do you think this is the case or could it be something else? if it is any ideas how i can get her to swap nighttime for daytime feeding ~ or should i just leave things to run their natural course? i shouldn''t complain as she does sleep for the 4/3 hour chunks in between feeds at night - i just feel if we couild sort it it would make life a lot easier!!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I'm a first time mum who's not got a clue!!
Thanks xx
