my LO is 1 week old he's drinking 3oz every 3-4 hours ATM I was just wondering when we should think about upping the Amount? thankyou z
xx

thats a lot for a 1wk old - but all babies are different.

if lo is finishing the bottles easily then up it to 4oz - or give just couple 4oz bottles

My lo is on 3oz every 3/4 hours and has been since 3 days old.

Hes now starting to drain them so im gonna see if he drains them for next day or so then up it to 4oz.

Even if he doesnt drink full 4oz but drinks more than 3oz at least he is taking the lil extra he wants/needs :)

There is usually a guide on the formula box & I've just followed this. Altho sometimes LO takes an ounce more than recommended.

I usually up the amount when Evie is draining more than a couple of bottles a day. Last week we upped her formula from 5oz to 6oz cos she was draining at least 3 of them per day

my LO is drinkinhg the whole bottle and sometimes still seems hungry after, but 4oz seems alot just yet? xx

Logan has completely drained his bottles now for 24 hours and is waking up after 2 hours for more so im upping it too 4oz today.

How big was your baby when born? If bigger they tend to need more milk quicker.

he was 8lb 4 thanks everyone I'll make the 4 incase he wants it xx
