Isabelle is only 71cm tall and weighs 22lb, but every other toddler her age seems to be a lot bigger, especially taller! I feel like mine is so little she's still a baby. She can walk fine and is actually ahead with physical development, she eats fine and sleeps well, but is it normal for toddlers to grow really slowly? I'm only 5 ft 1 myself but I was never this little as a baby!

On the plus side she still fits a lot of 6 to 9 month stuff so I suppose it's saved my pocket lol.

Anyone else with a titch?

My little boy is slim and was just under 22lb a couple of weeks ago, although he was 81cms at 12 months and hasn't been measured since then, he is very very tall, but i am 5'11 and my OH is 6'7 so he was always going to be tall!
Dressing his isn't the easiest as he needs long trousers but has a skinny middle!! He's def starting to chunk up now though!!

Toddlers come in all sizes so I wouldn't worry at all! She sounds like a super cutie :hugs:

My daughter is 13months and 20lbs, so will probably be around the same weight as yours in a few months. My son was 24lbs at 15mo so a little bigger. They are both tall and skinny though.

My 11 month old is around 79cm (31in) and has to be about 24lb + now but she seems huge compared with most babies her age! She's getting to be too tall and broad for 12-18 month tops already but she has short arms so they're really long in the arms on her!

Your daughter sounds adorable! Some days I wish Tanwen has stayed in clothes sizes for longer! She was out of 6-9 by the time she was 6 months and was fitting into 3-6 month clothes from 5 weeks!:dohh:

Bec

I'm not sure on the height of my LO but she has weighed 10kg since January this year. She has gotten taller but not much as I'm a short arse at 5ft. She's still in 12 month trousers as anything else is far too big for her!

I honestly don't know how much my LO weighs or how tall he is - But he's 17 months and almost as tall as my almost 4 year old! And my oldest isn't short for his age lol x

my LO is nearly 16 months and only 75cms, shes also 22lbs last time i weighed her. in England she was teeny next to my friends babies in height anyway but here they call her grande! she is much bigger the babies here are teeny they think my LO is 2 wich is funny.
Im 5 foot 2. I love our teeny toddlers! she still looks too small to be walking haha

Preston is little too, he'll be 18mo on the last day of the month. He is just now 22lbs. I don't know his height right now but at 15mo he was 76cm so a little taller than your LO but boys typically are much bigger at this age. 76cm put him in the 22nd%. His weight is usually between the 8th-15th%

LO is tall but very slender. At 15 months I think she was around 22lb but 79/ 80cm! Still wearing some 6-9 at 18 months! She now weighs more but she's a very compact muscular child so looks quite petite when clothed.

Gabriel didn't get to 22lbs until after he was 2 years old.

At 15 months my LO was 85cm and 30lb. He looks much bigger than his peers and is 2+yr clothes. I sometimes wish he was smaller as he isn't doing my back any favours!

Callie's a titch as well, smaller than all her friends and all the younger children at music class, 74cm at 18 months. Still fitting into some 9-12 but mainly in 12-18. Not sure how much she weighs though. All our family are small, so we never expected her to be tall.

Jaxon is only 25 lbs at 2 years old. He's in the 20th percentile for weight and he's in the 60th for height. Makes finding clothing that fits him a right pain. His 18-24 mth pants are to big in the waist and too short for his legs, 2T pants are too big in both waist and height. His shirts are not as big an issue, just pants. he's a scrawnly little boy.

My son is really tall but slim, so we have always had the same problem. He's in the 50th for weight but off the chart for height. The pants that have fit my son best are by Mexx - pricier but they actually stay on LOL. It was an especially bad problem after he was out of diapers at 2.5 - he could fit back into his 18mo pants but everything was way too short! :haha:

Ha..my LO is 15 months and exactly the same height and weight as yours! She is usually much smaller than all the other 1 year olds that I come across at groups, too. I'm only 4'10" though and was really small as a baby and my husband is 5'9"...so I'm not too surprised!

Aww I bet shes adorable! Theres a little girl at paiges toddlers who is 16 months or so and she is teeny weeny! Shes alot smaller than most others but is perfect! Your LO is probably just going to be a shorty, nothing wrong with that!

At 15 months, Paige was 22lbs 3oz and 79cm.. so was tall and slim. Shes now 89cm and 26lbs so still the same.

toddlers come in all shapes and sizes, and theyre all perfect in their own way! Xx

Mia's nearly 20 months and only weighs just over 19lb and still wears some of her 6-9 month clothes

Don't get me wrong, I actually quite like her being dinky! She's still ny little baby lol. I just wondered if she was abnormally short but it appears not :) I think she's something like the 9th centile for height and 25th for weight.

Daniel weighed 22lbs at his 2 year check, so I wouldn't worry too much.
