Feeling so defeated.....Bad news.

Well not bad news I guess.
I've just gotten home from work, my good friend/workmate has
just told me she's 7 weeks pregnant with her second child.
She has been trying about 3 months.

I honestly had no idea how hard it would be to smile and say
congratulations...I got into the car in the car park and burst into
tears..

I mean I am happy for her....but it's a weird emotion..
I feel so jealous and upset too..

Urgh..

I fucking hate life right now.

I've been there myself hun. Last year my bestfriend got pregnant & she found out when i was there. I was excited for her, but when she went home i cried as i was so jealous. Unfortunately, her baby was born at 26 weeks and never made it, so i feel bad for feeling the way i did now. It is so hard though, i know where your coming from!

Like everyone else I know how you feel - my SIL had her baby on 15th August and now my sis has just told me she's pg. And to top it all off our baby's due date is 25th Sept. Not a happy bunny as you can imagine

Hello, newbie here....so sorry with how you're feeling, I totally understand. We've been ttc 5yrs & the amount of people pg in that time seems to be everyone & of course you have to smile & say congratulations & look happy, but I never realised how difficult this would be. It's so good we have these kind of forums where we can vent how we feel to people that truly understand.

Fully understand how hard it is to smile and congratulate, DH doesn't quite get me on it, but it is so tough.

I can vouch for that too its awful! I have been to work to find that a girl i work with is 14 weeks, dont get me wrong im plzd but im jealous and bitter but are also happy for her.
Also if your anything like me every month your looking for signs when really they dont exist its just my paranoya and wishful thinking. I am going on holiday on monday and hoping to relax and see if we can get a positive this month!!!
