Felt like a mummy for the first time

I went to my aunts funeral yesterday, didn't take Ed but was asked by uncle if I would take him to the wake so I did. When we arrived there were loads of people there (I have a rather large family) all trying to see him and have a cuddle. Every time I passed him to someone for a cuddle he would look at me and drop his bottom lip like he was going to cry and put his arms out to me, when I got him back he would cuddle me so tight For the first time in 9months I actually felt wanted by him, it wasn't the nicest situation to get a feeling like that but I know my aunt would have approved
