Hi!
My hubby is having his vasectomy reversal in May (hurray!!) he's 32 and I'm 37, my periods are regular and haven't changed since having my 9 + 6 year old. I thought I'd check my ovarian reserve before hubby hs op, so I did a fertell fertility test today CD3 and the results were normal. I'm happy but just wondered if anyone else had used them? It's a first thing urine test on CD 3.
I have a bicornate uterus and my first baby was born sleeping at 24 weeks, my other babies were born at 35 + 36 weeks. Just hoped that the getting pregnant bit might be okay and then we'll just have to cope with the stress of pregnany (I usually bleed + have contractions from 24 weeks due to my uterus)
Good luck to everyone ttc hope you all get :bfp: ASAP!!
Thanks
Michelle

Welcome to the BnB! I have read the info on them, but I have not personally used it. I have a friend who has and hers came out ok too.
Good luck!

I used one and the results came back okay. My hubby used the men's one and it was okay too. I think the results are a bit limited though, so if you have issues (which by the sounds of it you don't and hopefully won't) then you'd need to go see your GP for more extensive tests.

I hope your DHs reversal goes well in May and you get your :bfp: shortly after

we use them as well and for both of us they came back normal...but as they are limited of what they can tell you ( sperm count etc...) when we were over 12 month ttc we advised to re do the test with a lab that can actually tell you numbers ....we did me and my husband last week with a lab for sperm analyse and they did came back good again so we were very please and reassured as well.
good luck !

I have never heard of that test...OK, someone fill me in!!! Please!!!

Hi!
It's a fertility test, they do male + female. For us there's no point in doing the male as hubby has had vasectomy (having reversal in May), but the males checks the sperm. The female test, that I did checks the level of FSH (I think it's follicle stimulating hormone).
the idea is females have all their eggs from birth and as they get older the quality of eggs diminish so the body needs to produce more FSH to get eggs out that could be fertilised. My hubby and I have got pregnant before but not for 6 years and as I'm 37 I did the test on CD3 to see if my levels were normal + they were.
The tests are usually for people having problerms conceiving but I didn't want to put my hubby through a vasectomy reversal if my eggs were knackered!
Phew, I feel worn out now!! Hope that made sense!
Here's wishing us as all :bfp: and sticky babies ASAP xx
