Fertility test ... Bad result. Please help?

Okay so I took that first response fertility test and i got the result of elevated Levels which supposedly means I might be low in eggs or have low quality of eggs. I'm only 25. Have no health issues besides being overweight. Does this test have any merit!? Should I go to the doctor?

Personally I don't trust this test, I don't think I have heard of a single person getting good results from one. Don't worry too much hun, most likely you're fine xx

Remember there is always room for error- don't take the test as definite. I wouldn't trust a pee stick either.

Could be worth a docs visit hun if you think it would put your mind at rest? I've wondered about trying one of these tests (particularly as I'm 36) but think I'll just have docs do one in new year as would trust that better than a home test I think x

It certainly cannot hurt to see the Dr (if only to know for sure and not worry)-- it's a very simple blood test done on CD3 - had one myself before my hubbies 1st VR and I'm 36!!! Your young and totally within the ideal "fertile" range... so don't worry yourself hun.

I don't think it would hurt to have a doctor visit.

I wish these didn't come free with the FRER 3 pack! One month I took this test and it was "normal". This month I took it and it said I was elevated. Talk about depression! Did a ton of research and determined nobody likes this test. Started taking vitamins anyway (avg 26 day period). Got a + OPK yesterday and this morning I had ovulation bleeding. Sounds like I'm having a pretty normal cycle besides this silly free test! I'll let you know in a couple weeks how it works out.

that really does put me at ease. I knew I shouldn't have taken it. Then when my line was too dark I was like ahhhh crap! Thanks for this response. Good luck this month
