I would think it'd be similar to IVF. So, 3 or so days....but I honestly have no clue.

Hey Wrightwales, I cant help really as mine was medicated FET cycle, they wont do natural at my clinic since they like to plan their diaries i reakon haha I would have liked to do natural too and my periods are regular so annoyed me a little as these prog supps are not the best!! FET cycle is soooooo much easier to deal with, sooooo much less stress and you will feel so much healthier and ready. I didnt have too much luck with thawing even though our embies were great quality. Be prepared to loose maybe a couple but dont worry if you do as its perfectly normal. Fingers crossed yours will be totally fine. Apparently i am just one of the unlucky women whose embryos dont like the freeze thaw process!! I wish you all the best with this FET, they say you have just as much chance of pregnancy nearly as a fresh cycle so long as your embryos thaw well.

xx

I don't have any advice really but I wanted to wish you lots of luck!!! :hugs:

thanks ladies feeling very positive at the moment

Chocci - i am prepared to lose a few they cant all make it out the big freeze can they.

i really hope it works as i think this will be my last shot. cant afford to go private and only got 1 go of IVF on nhs which i was really gutted about, just because i live in wales. really dont know what i will do if it doesnt work DH and i really want a child and we have already been down the adoption route but got turned down

Oh hun ....... i so wish you all the luck in the world, will be hoping for you. I too only got one stab at IVF / ICSI in my region, to be honest 1 go is the norm, but a few regions in england and wales do get 3. Some get NONE in scotland so i suppose we cant complain in some respects..... but this postcode lottery is a piss take!!! I am lucky enough to be able to go private and should realise how lucky i am really, lucks like my FET will fail this time but I will be all reved up to find a new clinic and try again :)

Sometimes they all make the thaw hun, sometimes they dont, i have read that its unlucky to not get any thaw and to loose as many cells as i did to be honest. I have also read that the earlier they freeze them the more chance they stand of deforsting but they just dont know the quality, the later they freeze them i.e. blastos they know the quality but they dont freeze thaw as well..so its just chance really.

I really wish you all the luck in the world and please keep us postedXXXXXX

Editied: Should have said NONE in scotland

i know i shouldn't really moan about having 1 ivf at least i had 1. i agree about the postcode lottery we all live in the same country we should all be treated the same. my embie's where frozen very early i have 7 1 day and 2 2 day. it worried me abit about them freezing at 1 day as some people on here had never heard of it being done but i found out that in some country's that's all they will freeze so that eased my worries abit. thanks a lot chocci and will defo keep you posted and hope you get your :bfp: soon :hugs:xx
