me and OH have been considering buying a doppler, we were going to get one, but then he is worried incase i couldnt find the heartbeat. but i think if that happens you can just try again later after food/water etc. i also said that its good for when the movements slow down as the baby gets bigger.

ive heard the angel sounds doppler is good, but i know there are different models of that. and ive had mixed reviews (someones broke after using it once, and someone else said they were badly made )

and i dont really know the names of any other good dopplers.. suggestions?

I bought the Sonoline b Doppler after recommendations on here and love it! I bought it second hand off eBay and although the instructions weren't included, good old YouTube had some videos to show how to use it to hear baby. Really reassuring if baby has had a quiet day or earlier on when you don't feel baby yet. Definitely worth it, nice for DH too to use it on me to find his baby's heartbeat <3

Hey, I really wanted the sonoline b one from all the great reviews but didn't want pay that much, so if your willing to pay then I'd suggest you get that one. However I got baby sounds by ana wiz ltd off amazon for bout 23 quid and it does the job of checking babies heartbeat. I struggled find at first but that was cause I was impatient and tried it before the recomended 12 weeks and 12 weeks 4 days I found my baba so you should be fine now :). I have an anteria placenta so have only really just started feeling movements so its been a god send to me to check baby still was there as I couldn't feel him for so long. But on the other hand on occasions he has been hiding and couldn't find him which does cause concern so you do have to be prepared for that as well. All in all I couldn't have coped without mine, but everyone is different :)
Sorry for the long post lol. Btw I'm from stoke aswell :) and ur scan pic is so clear it's ace xxx

ive ended up buying an angelsounds from ebay, couldnt help myself it was only 15 pound with postage. i was going to get the sonoline one, but OH didnt want to pay that much :nope:
i dont see many people on here from stoke  how old are you :flower:

That's good price then. It's ace the first time you hear the heart beat :) I'm 22 having my first. What about you?

i'm almost 17, i dont really think scared is a good enough of a word, expecting my first ovbiously :haha: although i did have a miscarriage earlier in the year. my mum jokes that shes going to get me sterilised as birth control doesnt seem to work with my body :haha:

Awww bless ya. Bet she's excited to have a grandchild tho. My mums well excited she's bought more for the baby than I have haha. He's going to be one very spoilt lil boy :)

I have a sonoline b that I got off amazon. It's ace!!

I agree with the others... I love love love my Sonoline B and it cost me about $50 online. Worth every dollar.

Another vote for Sonoline B! I got mine online brand new for $52. Its been picking up baby's heartbeat since 8 weeks

Sonoline B are excellent - bit expensive but well worth it. i originally bought the angel sounds but didnt really like it because it doesnt show you the number of beats. I find the sonoline soooooo reassuring because as soon as i find that fast thumping beat and see it reach 160+ i know thats my baba :)
