ffions eye

so ive been waiting for an appointment from the specialist but it hasnt come yet.. but ffions eye is getting worse . she now has a lump under the purple bit and its grown today.

ive made an appointment with the dr for 2moro morning at 9am.

im upset i didnt get it checked out sooner

Hope it's ok - and don't blame yourself for not getting it checked sooner - it looked like nothing. If it was Sam I wouldn't even have thought to get it looked at x

Could it be a hemangioma, which is like a birthmark that grows as they get older and then disappears. If it is my doctor said not to worry. Marlie has a small one on her head.

good luck tomorrow hun. I also agree that it looked like nothing so how were you to know. You can only be so anal about your kids. This weekend Bren broke out in a rash, and to be honest, I was not the least bit concerned till I called the after hours nurse and she scared the shit out of me by telling me it was very serious and I needed to take him to the hospital immediatly. She then paged the on-call doctor who called me back and told me not to take him to the hospital, and when i went to my 4 month checkup on Tuesday, turned out to be a heat rash. You know your baby, and you know when something is bothering her or not. You didn't do anything wrong!!!

well..

the nurse thinks its a cyst caused by an infection so shes been given eye drops to help the infection and hopefully the cyst will just go away.

need to go back on monday for another appointment
