FFS, failed my driving test for the 3rd time. UPDATE page 2

Update! I took a break from driving for a few month and went with a different driving school, I feel so much more relaxed with my new instructor! My next test ( number 4 ) is booked for the end of the month! Thanks for the advice and for you guys sharing your stories!x

Good luck. If you think it would help you can have your instructor in the car with you when you do your test. My OH did this as was so nervous and passed.

I have horrendous anxiety, I prepared before my test by spending the weeks before imagining doing it and doing the best drive of my life. I wouldn't let myself imaging panicking. It was really hard at first but it soon became natural thinking. And when I did my test... I did end up driving the best I ever did.


I also had my instructor there for my test. It was good to have a friendly face there.

Right guys I have a bit of a dilemma. My instructor says she can sit in on my test if I want her too but I'm not sure it's a good idea.

I think it might make me nervous having two people in the car, I guess I'm feeling like I'll have two people judging me? But on the plus side if I do fail then she will know exactly what went wrong and will be better able to fix it for my next attempt! Any advice guys? I'm swaying towards going it alone!
