I'm over in the USA (I know different names are more popular in certain areas of the world than others). My DH and I found out that we are having our third boy! We're having a hard time making a list of names that we both like. I like names that aren't as traditional. My top names have been Kyler, Chase, etc. I don't want a name that a lot of other people have. Well DH hates them all. He likes way more traditional names and has been trying to convince me to name the baby Danny. Sorry buddy, not happening! (Not even Daniel and then Danny for short - legally, just Danny :dohh: ). So I was looking up baby names today and came across Lincoln. I really love it! It's not a name you hear all the time, and it's a strong sounding name IMO. Lincoln Maxwell. Doesn't it sound strong and sophisticated? So I texted DH and he said "I would consider that" :happydance: That is a huge breakthrough for him! Lol. So what do you ladies think of the name Lincoln Maxwell?

I loooooooooooove the name Lincoln, and wish I could consider it for a boy's name as well (last name is one syllable, starts with L...no go)! I think it is a more popular option in other countries, but hasn't really made a breakthrough into the US yet. If I may ask, what are his sibling's names?

We have two boys, our oldest is Jason Robert (named after DH, DS1 is a junior) but we call him Jay because everyone calls his dad Jason (I only call DS1 Jason if he is in trouble, lol). DS2 is Hayden James. Our last name starts with a B and is 2 syllables :D

So, Jason (long A with -un sound), Hayden (long A and -un), and Lincoln (-un sound) They sound good together imo!
Grayson and Brayden may be too close to the other two, but they follow your trend also.

Omg I didn't even notice that before! LOL they all sound similar, huh? I guess I don't mind that, though!

Lincoln is my fave boy name, and Maxwell my second fave lol, you obvs have very good taste! I'm in the UK x

Love it, especially with the middle name! Such a strong handsome combo!

That's the name we had picked out before we changed the middle name to James! We had a lot of compliments but it's really uncommon in the UK and some people's negativity changed OH's mind.

It's a lovely name! X
