Finally getting somewhere :)

Yayy we are finally getting somewhere!!my daughters statement process is finally almost finished...we got the rough draft through and we have now a letter for a better hospital for a genetic appointment!!after 3 years of appointments and dead ends it finally feels like we're getting somewhere!!my daughter is 5 years old and currently attends mainstream school...she has only been diagnosed with developmental delay as they can't pinpoint anything inparticular yet!!she has autistic traits,but also some muscular problems,and they've said her development is that of a 2-3year old!!hopefully come year1 she'll be in a special needs school and getting much more help then she's been getting!!she also had a biopsy taken for genetics but nothing came back so has referred her for an appointment!!
Just thought I'd write a little as I'm really happy things are finally moving xxx
