Finally named my bump!

I've wanted a name for my bump for ages as I didn't like saying 'baby' or 'it' all the time and we are not finding out the gender. Nothing came naturally but now our 20 week scan is going to be on Halloween so we are calling bump 'pumpkin'!

Do any of you have nicknames for yours?

Flipper!
When we first saw baby at 7 weeks he had little flippers and kept waving them. At 12 weeks he was doing a weird flip thing with his belly. I think baby will forever be known as flipper.

Thanks ladies! It's nice to hear other people's cute nicknames. I wonder if they will stick once babies are here? I'll be calling my strapping son pumpkin when he brings home his first girlfriend!!

Haha they probably will. I use Spud as a name now more and more, I'm like 'when spuds here we will have to . . . ' or 'that'd be a great place to take Spud' haha. I think spud will stick as a nickname if its a boy anyway, if it's a girl I'll try and stop using it for her sake!

Cute, we call ours butterfly because it feels like little butterfly wings beating inside when he/she moves. When we know the sex we'll call baby butterfly pink or butterfly blue! Our DS was peanut when I was pregnant with him

DS was Boo. Still is lol. He's 5 and says "My name is NOT BOO!" I haven't found a good nickname for this one yet.

Mine is Peanut and has been since 8 weeks.

It was funny as we were in the DIY store yesterday buying paint and I shouted to DH 'have you found the paint for Peanut's room yet?' as I was stood with the trolley and he was doing the lifting, no idea what people thought I was talking about!

Pumpkin is cute. I would call the baby by whatever fruit was on the ticker for the week & if I didn't like the name of the fruit I'd just say baby. I also didn't like saying "it" so I'd always say "they" instead. People probably thought I was having twins at first because of it haha. Now we finally fount out the gender & chose a name for him so that's what he's called now, Leo.

My now twelve year old son was Niknamed "Boo" in utero ... He's now 5'6" and still responds to the name lol. My 10year old daughter was Bubba and this lil bump I'm currently sporting has been named "FIDGET" for obvious reasons lol

i call mine the boogers. not sure why. the bump in general doesnt have a name. when they were embryos they were inky and squirt but.. that hasnt stuck for me
