I have PCOS and have very long irregular cycles and don't seem to ovulate naturally.

What can I expect for my first NHS referral appointment? Any chance of being given Clomid on my first appointment or should I expect lots of tests and more waiting?

 Thanks for reading.

Hmm every doc Is different. I know mine likes to make sure tubed are open before medication and to look at all test results

Mine did an internal exam. Then referred me for day 3 & day 21 blood tests. I was going to be given clomid at my next appointment after all bloods done, but got a bfp with dd.

After her, I went back but saw someone different who also wanted the blood tests but gave me clomid to take away at the same time, so immediately after my bloods cycle I could take provera & clomid if bloods showed I didn't ov.

Oh & both times oh had to have a sperm analysis too. Waitingongod is right tho, they're all different & some will also insist on checking your tubes before clomid.

Good luck with your appointment.
