First IUI today !!!! Any tips??

Yesterday, my monitor showed HIGH with FMU, and then a positive smiley OPK test in the afternoon.

I think I would have gotten a positive with second FMU, I had the usual nausea and tired symptoms, but I didn't want to waste my digital OPK since I only had a few of them left.

So, my IUI is today.
At first the nurse told me to come in the morning, at 9 am, but my hubby couldn't do it, had a meeting.
So, after arranging time with the lab, my FIRST IUI appointment is today at 4:15pm. He's supposed to come 2 hours early for the "deposit"

Is the timing right?

IUI is painless and you'll be fine. Hope DH "gives his all". Don't be surprised if you see a wee bit of blood in the mucus later on. Keep lying down for atleast 10 min after the procedure.
And if you feel like, have some more "fun" with DH in the evening!! Good luck!!!

beside the weird pressure in my tummy after she injected the sperm, it was not bad.
Yeah, I had a little bit of spotting too.

The doctor said my CM was thick, instead of clear/watery. I hope that's the only problem.

and I hope the timing was right.

Glad it went well! Ours were both natural IUIs as well - no meds, we just went by the positive OPK. I'll be keeping an eye out fr you at the end of your TWW.
