first mw appt

got a letter today for my first mw appt and its not till 31st october AND im away in malta that week aswell so ill have to postpone it another week (ill be 11 weeks by that point!)

Im sorry. I had mine last thursday and the doctor wants to see me again this thursday?? But if they think they should wait that long maybe your doing just fine...no complications and a happy pregnancy.

Its the same here, first one not usually till 10 weeks but there is't much they can do really before then apart from give advice if needed and here you ban phone them for that??? It'll soon pass.

Try and make it the week before you go away, that way you will have a good time away and wont have to worry about it!

On the optimistic side, when you go in if you have an ultrasound you will be able to see a baby instead of a dot! Is it normal for that office for people to wait till 11 weeks?

My first MW appointment isn't until November 5th! I'll be 10 weeks and 3 days.

we dont have a scan at our first midwife appt.. its just filling forms etc, checking bp and bloods.

i just wanted my appt a bit sooner i left her a message and asked her to get back to me
