First "proper" feed ever!

Since Scarlett was born, she never latched properly. I had to express into a spoon for her in hospital, and used nipple shields and expressed for her ever since. Tonight, though, she's had her first ever non-shielded/expressed feed!!! I'm absolutely thrilled, and hoping it wasn't just a one-off! I'd love to be able to bf for as long as possible, and nipple shields were putting me off, as we weren't getting as close, they're a lot of hassle and I'm worried that they were starting to decrease my supply.
Fingers crossed, we can carry this on from now on!!!

Thats brilliant, well done for persevering with it I'm sure if she managed to latch on and feed without shields this time she'll be able to do it again
