First scan?

I've seen the midwife today and she's says she has to send off for a scan date n I will receive it through the post...

I was hoping for before Xmas so we can tell everyone bit she doesn't think it will

Anyone else in chesterfield? How long did u wait for your scan??
Also I've been looking at private scans but can't find much on them...Anyone know where I can get on?

Do you know how far along you are? you should get your first scan in the 12th week. I'll be 12 weeks and 3 days on mine.

Ive got my scan on Christmas eve,got my letter a week ago,im in Matlock.

I'm 10 weeks 1 day , which makes me exactly 12 weeks on Christmas day

The midwife said first scan between 11 and 14 weeks but I was hoping to get it more towards the 11/nearly 12 week mark so we can tell people at Xmas hehe

I'm struggling to find somewhere that just does a normal scan, most of them are like 16 week 3D ones, do u think I should ring round the hospitals?
