First tww after HSG. Anybody?

Sorry to hear you have an UTI martamok :hugs: I'm sure you'll be fine to BD around your ovulation day! Think positive!
After almost 3 years with not even an evap, I gave up testing long ago and now I just wait for AF to arrive! AF can be up to 2 days late sometimes so if she's later than that then I will test, but I'm not getting my hopes up too high because I can't deal with the disappointment. Always hoping I won't be disappointed though!! [-o<

I understand, it's the smart thing to do. I still go crazy with testing  I buy the cheapo's on amazon and just test startling like 7-10dpo, I'm horrible I know :dohh:

I was wondering has your doctor suggest Clomid or have you tried it? My doc said that's the next step but I dont know how long I should wait after my HSG test. I was going to give it like a month or two. What do you think?

Haha I went through that stage and wasted so much money on tests, I've just come to realise that testing early won't increase my chances of getting pregnant! (I WISH!!)
My doctor hasn't suggested Clomid for me as I have had every test possible and everything seems ok. DH has a low sperm count so it probably wouldn't make any difference how many eggs I produced! Our next step is to be referred to an IVF specialist to have an IUI, but if I had been prescribed Clomid then I would most definitely start it asap! But that's just me! Hoping you won't need to start on Clomid though! Best of luck x

Aw thank you!
All my tests came back good, I ovulate every months and have regular periods every 28 days. DH SA is fine too. The only thing I guess is that my right tube was sort of blocked, so maybe now we have higher chances. We didn't go see our doctor just yet. But he told us after HSG we should try Clomid first, then IUI. So I was thinking waiting this month since I just got the HSG done and then see what happens in September. Good luck with your IUI. Keep me updated :flower:

There is a really good chance that the HSG was what you needed to get pregnant. Keep us updated! The specialist told me that if DH's SA was normal then we'd have to try Clomid next, but as he has a low count then Clomid won't really help our situation! DH has provided an up-to-date sample this week so another 3 months before he has to do another and then we'll know where we stand and when the IUI process can start!!
I'm really bad at symptom spotting- I do it every cycle :/ I suppose that's why I'm so disappointed every month!! I hadn't realised before reading up about an HSG (after I'd had mine!!) that it can increase your chances of getting pregnant, so my hopes were instantly increased! The last couple of days I've had a really bad breakout of spots on my face and top of my back. I normally get a couple of small spots before AF but these are huge and I very rarely get spots on my back! I've also had intermittent cramping and am more tired than usual (but I'm putting that down to not getting a full night's sleep for the past 3 weeks because of our dog!) So this is me trying to not get my hopes up!!!

That really sounds promising, those are good symptoms, just stay positive and maybe don't think about it as much (I know easier said then done lol)! But the weekend is here and then only a few more days till you'll know
I on the other hand have not ovulated yet, I heard that HSGs delay your ovulation but I just hope I actually ovulate all together lol I was suppose to ovulate yesterday but I've been testing and lines have been getting darker, except not dark enough... so I'm keeping my FX. Hope you have a nice weekend :hugs:

Hi girls! I wanted to post an update on here, since I know when I was looking for HSG forums I was looking to read what happened after the test and find out the outcomes.

So I have really good news..I'm pregnant! After trying for a long time, I had the HSG done last cycle on cd6. I did ovulate late this month, on cd18 (instead of 14-15 when I usually do). My right tube was sort of blocked because the dye only went through the second time it was pushed. Ovaries hurt after the test and even after I ovulated. So after that I got my very first and very faint on 10dpo! Now I'm about 6 days passed my period and my BFP is very dark! I'm going to see my doctor today.

I believe there is hope for everyone especially after an HSG! Baby dust to all and FX!

:dust:
