Today is my first ultrasound...I'm just going through the process of drinking the litre of water before hand. I'm halfway there (almost) and have 10 more minutes to finish it.

I'm nervous and excited at the same time. It's a pretty early ultrasound but we should be able to see the heart beat...we're keeping our fingers crossed that's for sure. Our last ultrasound experience was pretty devastating when we miscarried so we are hoping to have an incredible experience this time.

I'll let you know how it goes when we're done:)

omg good luck! post some pictures up asap. I love seeing ultrasounds. And let us know how your experience goes.

*fingers crossed*

Well, all was good...except for a little booking mistake that was my fault. I booked at the wrong clinic so we had a rush to get across town to the other clinic. They were good enough to take me even though I was late...good thing too because my bladder had had a workout and I was close to exploding:)

The baby is 1.27 cm and they said that makes me about 7 weeks and 3 days along...two days later than I had anticipated but close enough for me:) The heart was beating at 166 bpm. I saw it as soon as I looked at my screen but my DH took a bit longer to focus on it. It was super amazing...and now all that more real.

I'm so very happy and excited!!!
