First ultrasound

When did everyone get their first ultrasound. I can't remember for the life of me when I got mine, and I wasn't even pregnant that long ago. I am going to my first doctor appointment on January 2, and will be 8 weeks, 2 days. Do you think they'll do it then?

eh, maybe i had my first ultrasound at 8w2d too!
at a clinic, and they said they usually didnt do it that early, but they would try and see if they could get a good pic of the baby, and they did.
they usually do first ultrasounds at 10-12 weeks.
but just ask them and im sure they can!

lol, I got mine at 6weeks 3days
I didn't have a clue how far along I was. So I had to get one to find out. hah

I had my first ultrasound 2-3 weeks after my first doctor appointment but they also did a ultrasound AT my first doctor appointment, but it was internal, and it was only to see the heartbeat, i went back when i was 8 week 3 days and saw heartbeat

i had one at 9w because of sharp pains, but i wasn't supposed to have one until 12w x

I got mine at 11 weeks 3 days methinks!
But we didn't know I was pregnant til around 8-9 weeks
Also didn't know how far along I was either

i thought it was around 12weeks first scan.
i dunno though i never had 1 lol

I was between 5 & 6 weeks with my first ultrasound.
The first ultrasound I had that my doctor sent me for was my IPS though at 11 weeks.

my first midwife appt was when I was 7 weeks, but I didnt have an ultrasound then, i had to wait til I was 9+3 for that. And that was instead of a 12 week scan. Bit early but I was happy to have it. The annoying thing was going from 9 weeks til 20 weeks before I saw her again

I feel so wierd that everyone else has gotten or is getting a scan at 12 weeks....I had one done at my 8 week appointment, but then nothing at my 12 week..
I wish I could get one everytime I go. haha I wanna see my little one! lol

I had my first ultrasound when I was 5 weeks along, just to confirm the pregnancy. Some doctors will do that, but most over here in the States don't do ultrasounds until 20 weeks.

you're supposed to get one between 8-12
mine was 12 because i didn't know until i was about 6 weeks gone and then i had to wait for the mw and wait for the hospital and what not but i got some cracking 12 week scan pics so no complaints and then i had my second one when i was nearly 22 weeks was such a long time to wait !!!
