For the mummys who have bought the spin and bounce zibra...what age did your LO start using it confidently?! Or what are they like on it now? xx

We bought sam his for his 1st birthday and he loved going on it from the start xxx
now tho we have to watch him more when he is on it cos he stands on it and bounces at the same time :dohh:

Dec got his at about 9-10 months, he was using it well by his first birthday now it is sitting in a corner and the only time he goes on it is to stand on it and jump, same as Sam.

Oh im glad its not just sam who does it then :haha:

I think boys just like to be different :growlmad: Dec will ride his bike backwards and put his trampoline up against the wall at an angle and try to jump on it :dohh:

Ally only got his for his bday. He hasn't had much chance to play with it yet but when he has he's just standing by it... When I put him on it he tries to stand up on it. he is a tall boy but has shorter legs and can't quite reach the floor!

Weve bought this for Maxs 1st birthday (early I know ) but hes had a sneaky go on it before it went away! Hes 10 months atm and likes to sit by it and stand with it playing with the lights and rattly bit! He likes being supported on it (his legs dont quite reach the floor) and happily bounces! :D I think he'll be much better at 1+!

xXx

Olivia got hers for her first birthday but couldnt reach the floor to bounce, so she would sit on and we had to bounce her. She could reach the floor by the time she was about 13-14 months and started using it fine, altough never more than a few minutes at a time but knowing Olivia she has the attention span of a gnat, she has to be in everything all at once.

She is now far too confident with it. instead of sitting on it now she stands on it and tries to bounce. Such a nightmare & carries on doing it no mater how many times i say no or tell her off. So now its kinda of a waste as she refuses to sit on it... But thats just because shes soooo naughty. I think we have the terrible twos early

x

Conor got his for his first bday also. He took a couple months to get in to it. Now it sits in corner of his room, everytime I have considered taking it out the room I go in to find him using it lol

Maddi had her's for her 1st birthday and has been using it probably since she got it. i love watching her face on it, and she prefers to get on and get off, over and over :dohh:

Hannah also got one for her 1st birthday and has been confident on it from the start :)

Thanks everyone for your replies...i was going to buy my LO one for his 1st birthday but decided against it as i wasn't too sure if he would benefit from it. I shall now go and get one! :happydance: xx

We have the pony one that connects to the tv. We got it for Erica's first birthday for her. When she first got it, she liked it but her feet didn't reach yet either. Around 14 months she was able to get on and off and bounce herself, now she pretty much will get on and off and hit the buttons a million times. :dohh:

Oscar got this for xmas, but only really started using it when he was 1.
He goes bonkers on it, it's so funny to watch. He bounces and shrieks and laughs

We got it for Toby's 1st Christmas, he was 13months. He wasn't very confident at 1st but within about 6wks he was jumping up and down like a yo yo:wacko:

If he uses it in his bedroom upstairs it sounds like the roofs gonna cave in:dohh::haha:

Rhys got his for his first birthday and he instantly loved it, he knew how to use it straight away and he still plays on it now.
Ffion is 13 months and she just doesnt get how to use it, shes too short to be able to get on and off and she just gets really fed up with it!

That's how Toby was at 1st but we persisted trying him on it every week and now he adores it:happydance::happydance::happydance:

summer is 15 months, had hers for ages now but is still to short to get on, off or even touch the floor on it! she jus sorta rocks back forth a few times so it makes a noise then throws herself off! so we are not quite there yet.

Josh used to love it, was confident from the start, but he's no longer into it. xxx
