five year old missing!!

maybe this has been written before haven't read all the threads or reply's.

But if this is this man is the person that took her why does he not tell them where the little girl is.

Its not looking good when you see them searching the river

apparently he is refusing to talk at all, wont answer any questions etc x

Because that would mean admitting he has done something, he probably hopes she is never found :(

With regards to that tweet, maybe the suspect someone like the ex gf, an ex wife etc knows something and they were trying to scare them into talking x

I'm hoping he might have done but there was a psychologist talking earlier and they said the peoples mind set once theyve done it is that they didn't! And they kind of erase it from their mind.
I think part of the thrill is the aftermath and the not telling

If he's evil enough to do it he certainly won't tell as I guess its admitting guilt and providing evidence.
Poor poor girl

Going to sound really morbid now but what happens if he never tells them where she is or admits to having anything to do with it and they never find her does he just walk

Xx

I doubt it, there must be evidence... The other children, the land rover, DNA etc they seemed pretty certain from the start it was him so they must have firm evidence (I'm hoping) x

Good question. If they don't find her or any evidence linking him to her then I think he's a free man unfortunately.

No he won't just get away with it

The abduction took place and they obviously feel they have enough evidence or they wouldn't have taken the unusual step in naming him, so he will likely still be charged with that

I don't even want to think about anything else, however it is possible to bring a murder charge without a body. That actually made me feel sick to type that

This. I remember a specific case of a gentleman who took his kids and killed them and spent years torturing the wife by not revealing the location of their bodies.. Infact I don't think he has to this day. One of the most awful things I've read.

You can absolutely be charged with murder without a body.

Surely if they have lots of evidence he would tell them where she is. If she's alive it won't be a murder case which is obviously better for him.

Not if he believes that the won't be found where the is, alive or otherwise. Something like an underground hideout

Like I said earlier in the thread, and I believe someone reiterated it, is that when people do this sort of thing they usually deny until the day they die. Whether that's really a psychological thing that they forget or they do it for the thrill is up for interpretation. I believe she may well be found though. The police are probably now looking for a body and he knows that which is why he won't give up any information. That and he's a sick fuck.

There are reports the riverside is being sealed off and camera crews are being asked to leave.

How did the police know to look for him? I read they 'knew he was in the area and were anxious to find him' do you think he was already know to the police etc?

I REALLY hope that little girl is alive. .. don't they usually label it as things other than an 'abduction' ? i hope the police have reason to believe she is still alive.

Can't believe how many kids have gone missing this year :(

Probably because the child April was with recognised him and told April's parents that is he who she went with.

It's been said earlier in the thread alot of times about how they knew. It may because the witness was able to identify him as he was known by many people in the area, or that he had the only left hand drive vehicle in the village or that he may well be known to the police for offending.

Searching a vacant farmhouse now.
