He also collected weapons; had a samurai sword & guns etc (with licenses). Doesn't make him a murderer because he worked in a slaughterhouse or had weapons IYKWIM.....let's just hope April passed quickly & without pain somehow

Beth, I would ring your local police station, they will comfirm or deny. Tbh it probably is a hoax but better to be sure one way or the other, then you can let your friends know too x

I mentioned it to my mum earlier and she said it is true. She is a primary school teacher on the estate and the school got notified of it :/

It's scary as there's always tonnes of kids out playing here!

Family will not be told about evidence against Mark Bridger, same as the public. When it comes to the law, families are not exempt from the rules unfortunately. They are kept up to date with developments etc. but even telling the family means that evidence could be leaked to the media, the public etc.

Highly unlikely. All the court appearance is, is to remand him in custody, reiterate the charges against him and hand it over to the Crown Court.

I cant imagine what her parents are feeling, it must of been the longest week of their lives.

At the suggestion of someone on another forum, me and my children now have a secret word that is not to be shared with anyone but us. If I send anyone to pick them up or get them, then they are to ask the secret word, if they dont know it then they must not go and must come to me immediately.
