Flu shot and TTC

Hi All, I wanted to see what you all have heard about getting a flu shot while you are TTC? I'm considering it, but have never had a flu shot. I am waiting for my doctor's take on it, too. Thx!

When I was pregnant 14 years ago, I was actually bumped to the front of the line to get the shot because of pregnancy.

Doesn't matter when you get the flu shot, before O and you can get the flu shot while pregnant

I have it every year. Back in 2009/2010, when the Swine Flu was doing the rounds I had it while pregnant. I saw more risks not having it than having it. I get Asthma so its a must for me anyway.

I got one while pregnant last fall. It was a special type for preg women, maybe you can ask your OB for that type??

I get one every year, and my RE says it's safe to get at any time in your cycle or pregnancy, that the important thing is just to get it.

Thanks everyone for your responses...gyno says to make sure and get the preservative free flu shot...I will get one soon!
