i believe this doesnt include baby milk and medicines.

I think your right but on our flight to Venice last week a lady got her bottles confiscated (I felt so sorry for her - but they only look the liquids? not the bottles with powder in?)
I think they were wrong (like you said) but it might be worth just taking formula mix and add the water later?
If you can do that? (haha spot the baby-less person!)
