How is everyone doing with this?
I dont no if its me but i cant keep anything down, i take these tablets at noon everyday but at 6-7pm i throw up..

Is the folic acid working? or is it just being thrown up - along with my dinner?

Also got my first scan tomorrow so exsited!! have no idea what to exspect!

Take them before bed that's my strategy..Vitamins make me nauceous n fatigue..

I think if you took them at noon and threw up 6-7 hours later it should have been absorbed already. If you are taking plain folic acid you could always take extra if you are worried you're not getting enough because the excess is peed out. I used to take 10 x 400mcg tablets a day plus my prenatal which also has 400mcg in. Doctors often prescribe this amount to women who've had previous mcs.

Good luck with the scan. How far along are you?

oh thank you, always abit scared dont want to overdose on folic acid etc..
As for my scan noone knows... Long story short i wasnt ovulating (not had a pierod since december last year) so the doctors said it was a 0-none chance of getting pregnant... so i havent got a clue i started getting a feeling i was only about 3 weeks ago... which is what made me take a test, dont no what it was but just had a feeling :) fingers crossed tomorrow :)

Folic acid is more important in the very early weeks. are you near 12 weeks? By this time most if not all the things folic acid really helps would be formed already. Its normally if your sick in the 1st hour or 2 that it may not be abdorbed but by 6 or 7 hours i think you would be fine. Congratulations

I also take mine just before bed. Do you have regular ish times when you are sick? If you do maybe try to take them at a completely different time.
Good luck for tomorrow x
