Follow on milk - help.

Has anyone's LO experienced diarrhea when their milk was changed to follow on?

Archie's had diarrhea four days now and the Dr's have said that it could be down to him having a cold. However, it can be black in colour which suggests to me lots of Iron is coming out of his body. We only just changed his milk to follow on which has the extra iron.

I am changing the milk back to stage 1 tonight.

Just wondered if anyone's had this.

This isnt with follow on milk, but i changed brands and she got the runs,a nd when I rang the health visitor she said always give it a week when changing milk.

Anyway we changed back and within 2 days they were back to normal.
So it probably is all normal.

switched luisa to c&gate follow on from stage one and she didnt even notice! but saying tht at the time i made the change her milk intake had just dropped from 35ozs to 21ozs so dont know if there is no efect cos she is drinking less iykwim!
