For how long after a MC (ERPC) will you get a positive HPT?

Or is this a 'how long is a piece of string' kind of question

I'm only about 5 days after my ERPC and we will wait a cycle before trying again but I'm just wondering how long I will test positive for?

They have prescribed me antibiotics because I am in agony and they think I have an infection, but I'm just not sure whether a test will be accurate in telling me if there are still clots etc inside. I really don't want another ERPC

hi,
first, sorry for your loss. i had my ERPC at the beginning of april and had to have it again a week and a half later.
i still got positive tests until 3 weeks after my second procedure.
im not sure if having clots will give a positive or not, sorry on that bit.
heres hoping you dont have to go through it again though

hi - if this helps, I had my d&c on April 9, and at April 21 my hcg (bloods) was 107. A week and a half later they were 3.5, and a week after that back to 0

HI, i had my ERPC on 23 Apr... and took a preg test about 10 days later and it was NEGATIVE.. so i think you can get rid of the levels fairly quickly

I had my D&C on 6th april, i didnt test and didnt have levels monitored so dont know exactly when they dropped, but after reading something on here i done a test 2 weeks after and it was neg. x
