Yep, worked for me. Half an hour after the sweep I began getting mild contractions that gradually grew in intensity. I did have to have my water broken because it wasn't breaking on its own and I was stuck at 3 cm for a long time with ridiculously intense contractions. Very shortly after they broke my water the labour progressed. From sweep until delivery I believe it was 1 1/2 days, and only 1 hour after they broke my water I fully dilated and delivered. I should have just let them break my water sooner, that's what was holding me up.
