I'm having a c section on the 24th of December i know that getting healed takes time but how did you feel when you were about 21 days after c section?

I had an emergency section 17 days ago and I'm starting to feel a lot better. The bleeding has started to slow down and my scar doesn't hurt as much.. Just take things easy after your section and you'll be fine :) xx

21 was my magic number, it was the day I felt like I was "completely healed" as long as I didn't try to overdo it, but I could do all light housework and walk as long as I wanted to. No heavy lifting or working out or anything like that though, at 6 weeks I felt totally as if nothing ever happened.

Wow congrads:)...why emergency?...get healed soon:flower:

My baby was 12 days overdue so I had to be induced, after 28 hours in labour I was only 2cm dialated and my contractions were really strong, so my baby got distressed and her heartbeat started to drop so they had to give me an emergency section.. Good luck with everything and remember to take things slowly xx

I'm day 9... But really hoping by day 21, I'll be right as rain!
I have been for a short walk today and had quite a bit of pain afterwards and then lost quite a bit of blood.
Xx

I'm day 9 and apart from a little pain from scar area which I think is due to healing.
Day 7 I was able to do the school run and was actually out and about all afternoon.

Just see how you go/feel and remember to rest. Even though I'm on my feet, I'm still taking painkillers and resting a lot.

I am 19 days in and feel pretty good. I have almost full mobility. I still am kind of sore so am still taking it easy. I haven't needed pain medication since about Day 10 though. Every day there is improvement!

I'm currently on day 15 after an emcs, my birth was similar to kayla89, went 12 days overdue but had been in early labour for 4 days in the end. I'm fully mobile, and have been out to town and the supermarket which wasn't too bad. Only problem I have now is I had a reaction to one of the stitches which has led to an abcess, buts its healing well.

Just take it easy, your body will soon tell you if you're doing too much.

At two weeks I was really feeling better. I had stopped taking all of my meds at that point. It was really sort of all of a sudden. By 21 days I think you'll be feeling pretty good.

I am day 10.....I feel totally fine moving. I think for me the biggest issue has been having no appetite and feeling tired (which go hand in hand i'm sure). Bleeding is light, swelling is almost gone, I have been to the store a few times, to several doc appts, am doing light housework.

By 21 I Was fine, DH back to work, me taking care of the kids.

I had my lb by emcs 25days ago and I feel great I even went into work for a couple of hours yesterday (I'm a hairdresser) and iv been driving about a week and going on daily walks since about day 10 but for that first week I did nothing my partner even passed my lb to me to feed and put him back down after so I think that helped with the recovery x

I've had 2 sections. By day 21 with Thomas I don't think I even felt like I'd had surgery. I am 100% fine now with this section. I last took pain relief on day 7, and have felt very well since day 9. I'm going on walks, driving, doing weights etc.

Right now it just feels itchy. I wouldn't do sit-ups or enjoy a coughing fit, but I feel really good overall.

I was miserable all the way up until exactly at 4 weeks and it was like a switch flipped on. I was back to my normal self.

I felt almost completely healed by day 21. I took a 30 hour road trip at that time and there was no problems at all.
