How did you do it?? any pics??

Like the idea of doing one for Maleys aunty and uncles!

I *think* microsoft puplisher (have you got it on your comp?) has an option to make one, a basic one though, and then you just print it off.

I think most photo development places do them too, for quite cheap x

I did one for my brother and SIL last year. I did it through the Next website (although i have to say i wouldnt recommend it, but i am really fussy and my brother seemed to be happy enough with it) but there are loads of companies online. all you do is upload the photos you want (good idea to edit/re-size them first so that it looks glam) and then about a week later, *bam*...photo calendar lands on your doorstep!! :D
It is a really nice gift to give and I actually made my SIL cry...lol

EDIT: just came across this website whilst I was looking for xmas ideas myself and they have created a list of what they consider the best sites for making a photo calendar...https://www.photos4.co.uk/photocalendars.shtml

i made mine from scratch. i will add how below. i used word/works. each A4 sheet had 2 months on it.

1. using word/works open a new document. alter the topb/bottom/left and right margins to 1cm. alter the header/footer to 0cm. set the page to 2 colomns.

2. move the cursor down the page 3 lines.

3. insert a table at the new cusor position. the table needs to be 2 colomns and 31 rows. alter the width of the 1st colomn so that its just wide enough to add numbers/date to.

4. go back to the line above the table. center the text, underline/bold/cap locks if you want to and add the month and year.

5. go to the line above the month and make the cursor move down the page until the table is at the bottom. IF the last line of table moves onto the next colomn you have gone too far and need moveit back 1.

6. add the numbers/date into the 1st colomn of table.

7. copy the month and table and paste onto the 2nd colomn. PLEASE NOTE this doesnt always work properly and tyhe table doesnt copy. so you will need to repeat the above for this side. IF the table does work dont forget to alter the month/dates/numbers for the correct month.

8. print out the pages and cut each one in half to give you the 12 months as a slim-line calendar.

9. i laminated the photos and then glued them into the space at the top of each page. (i tried to use photos that linked to the month - (kids in snow for january, halloween outfits for oct etc). allow to dry.

10. holepunch the top of every page, add a length of ribbon to hang up.

11. place in an envelope - poundland sell just bigger than A4 length and slightly wider than half A4 width. ready to post or wrap.

i hope this helps. i've just realised that the 1s i made didnt have 31 days in october (the family never said anything.)

Hun why dont you have a look on Photobox or Snapfish ... or even Tesco.com Photo centre, im sure they do stuff like that on there, shop around and scour the net for discount codes to use for money off too!! Should work out pretty cheaply

I cheated last year and used photos mainly from jaiden but also from the whole family for grandparents etc. Everyone loved them! I got them from snapfish.
I have actually got a voucher emailed to me for 50% off if used by the 31st oct.
Prices start from £7.50! Heres the code in case you want to use it!
